Over the Labor Day weekend, Troy Caldwell & Andy Wirth met up with Alpine Meadows homeowners to talk about White Wolf and the proposed Squaw Alpine Base to Base gondola.

Troy revealed his proposed plans to build 38 new homes in White Wolf as well as a private chairlift for the owners of these 38 new homes.

The proposed private chairlift will be named the White Wolf chair and would provide lift access to Estelle and Bernie’s at Alpine Meadows.  This terrain is currently hike-to terrain, but this proposed chair would change that if approved.

“You know, we are real excited about this. The White Wolf Chair, while it is privately owned, will be able to be accessed by the public at a mid-station loading zone. There is not a lot of vertical terrain back there, but skiers can use the chair to head over to the base lodge, while others more familiar with the area will be able to extend their adventure into other locations and still be able to swing back in and catch a ride at the same mid-station. There’s definitely some pretty darn exciting skiing in that neck of the woods.” – Troy Caldwell told MountainMinds.com
