Mountain bikers and summer trail enthusiasts have a new way to ride in Northern Utah this season: the Wasatch Gravity Pass, a joint offering from Deer Valley Resort and Solitude Mountain Resort. The new summer pass provides unlimited lift-served biking, hiking, and scenic chairlift rides at both resorts for $450, with sales opening on May 1.
The collaboration marks the first time the two resorts have combined access for summer operations, giving passholders a broader range of terrain across Utah’s Wasatch Range. Each resort brings something unique to the table, from Deer Valley’s long-established network of over 60 miles of trails to Solitude’s fast-growing bike park that launched in fall 2023.
Deer Valley’s bike park is scheduled to open for the summer on June 20 and will run through September 21. The park features gravity-fed flow trails, technical descents, and cross-country routes, accessible from two main chairlifts. Many of its trails also connect to the larger Park City singletrack system.
Solitude’s lift-served bike park is still expanding. Last year it debuted four new trails from green to black diamond that were designed by Gravity Logic and served by the Moonbeam Express chair. Construction continues this summer with new features including a blue jump line, a black jump trail, and a double-black technical descent. Solitude plans to open the bike park on weekends starting June 12, followed by daily operations from June 26 through September 1, then returning to weekend-only through October 5.
Both resorts will also offer full bike rentals, including kid-friendly options, and scenic lift rides for non-riders looking to explore the high-alpine landscape.
