On New Years Eve, head to the main street for some impromptu fireworks, champagne bottle popping and of course a snowball fight! All the bars and clubs will have some party on but will probably be ticket only so I wouldn’t leave it to chance on the night, make sure you’ve got your bubbly in hand when the bells come in. The restaurants will be offering special New Year’s Eve menus and again, book in advance so you’ve got your table sorted and can relax.

Airstar Night Light is on throughout the season (December to March) every Thursday, from 6pm – 7.30pm  and you can marvel at the illuminations!

Known as a great party destination, Val d’Isere never disappoints at New Year. There’s a real mix of bars and clubs to suit everyone’s tastes, from the Doudoune which rivals London night clubs with top DJs and dance tunes all night to the chilled out Blue Note or Moris bar.
