With only weeks until commencement of ski operations, New Zealand is prepping for another rowdy ski season in 2023.

North Island:

  • Mt. Ruapehu – 24 June
  • Whakapapa – 8 July
  • Turoa – 9 July
  • Manganui – *spun the seats for a sec in May, but shut again for the moment

South Island:

  • Porters – 25 June
  • Mt. Olympus – 1 August
  • Craigieburn / Broken River – “Ides of June”
  • Cardrona Ski Resort – 17 June
  • Treble Cone – 24 June
  • The Remarkables – 17 June
  • Coronet Peak – 16 June
  • Mt. Hutt – 9 June
  • Roundhill – 23 June
  • Ohau Snowfields – 24 June
  • Mt. Dobson – “Eves of July”

Word to the wise, and just for peace of mind, pack the rock-hoppers for the early days.

And be sure to keep it here for ongoing SnowBrains coverage of the New Zealand winter season 2023!
