NOAA is forecasting 4-8″ of snowfall for NorCal tonight/tomorrow with snow levels down to 5,000-feet.  This is down from the 8-12″ they were forecasting a few days ago.

“Our next weather system will move into Northern California late Tonight and is expected to bring snow levels down to 4000-5500ft!” – NOAA Sacramento, CA today

OpenSnow.com‘s Bryan Allegretto is forecasting only 1-3″ of snowfall for Tahoe’s mountains tonight/tomorrow.

So…  we’re trying not to get too excited about this storm until the snow is on the ground.
