The storm that dropped up to 6″ of snow on Oregon and Washington yesterday is about romping through Idaho.

Idaho is forecast to get 1-4″ of snow this weekend.

Try not to forget, it’s summer.  It’s September.  It’s summer, and it’s snowing.  This is a good thing.

“It will be rainy, snowy and cool this weekend, especially across the Central Mountains and Upper Snake Highlands. 1-4″ of snow with locally higher amounts are expected in the Central Mountains, mainly above 7,000 ft, along with over 1″ of rain in spots. Precipitation will taper off on Sunday with cool and breezy conditions remaining. Wind gusts will top 30 mph across the Southern Highlands with 20-30 mph gusts mainly in the afternoon and evenings across the Snake Plain. If planning outdoor activities this weekend, bring cold and wet weather gear.” – NOAA Pocatello, Idaho
