The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Montana. It’s in effect until Wednesday morning. Accumulating snowfall accompanied by winds gusting up to 45 mph are expected to impact the area.

The Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for areas above 4,500ft over the Continental Divide, which is where most of the accumulating snowfall will occur.

West Glacier Region-

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM MDT WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Snow. Snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches at Marias Pass
  and above 4500 feet over the Continental Divide. Strong gusty
  easterly winds to 45 mph could cause tree limbs break at times
  this afternoon and evening.

* WHERE...Bad Rock Canyon, Essex, Highway 83 Bigfork to Swan
  Lake, Marias Pass, and Polebridge.

* WHEN...Until 9 AM MDT Wednesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Slippery road conditions are expected at
  Marias Pass this morning through 10 am and also from 9 pm this
  evening through Wednesday morning.
