NOAA has issued a Winter Storm Warning for the Wasatch Mountains of Utah including Alta, Snowbird, Brighton, Solitude, Park City, & Deer Valley ski resorts.
* WHAT...Heavy snow and areas of blowing snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 8 to 16 inches. Winds gusting as high as 55 mph. - NOAA, SLC UT, 2/2/20
The warning is calling for 8-16″ of snow and winds as high as 55mph Sunday night through Tuesday afternoon.
Alta has already seen 345″ of snowfall this season and is sitting on a 103″ snowpack.
