The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Utah. It’s in effect from early Friday Morning through late Saturday Night. Long periods of heavy snowfall are expected to impact the area throughout that time period.

...WEEKEND WINTER STORM FOR MUCH OF UTAH AND SOUTHWEST WYOMING...

.A strengthening low pressure system over the Gulf of Alaska will
settle along the Pacific Northwest coast by Thursday night. This
low pressure system will then expand east across the western
states for Friday through the upcoming weekend. Widespread snow is
expected across much of Utah and southwest Wyoming this weekend,
with heavy snows likely for the mountains and adjacent valleys
with this storm.

Wasatch Mountains I-80 North-Wasatch Mountains South of I-80-
Western Uinta Mountains-Wasatch Plateau/Book Cliffs-
Including the cities of Woodruff, Randolph, Alta, Brighton,
Mirror Lake Highway, and Scofield
