The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, WY. It’s in effect until Thursday morning. Significant snowfall is forecasted to impact the area throughout that time.

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort:

  • 8-12+” of Snow Today – Thursday

“A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for the Teton and Gros Ventre Mountains until   9 AM Thursday. This system will begin impacting lower elevations this evening. It will bring   snow across the west and Bighorn Mountains. Snow is expected to fall into Friday morning.   Then, a quick secondary round of snow will move into the west late Friday into Saturday   morning.”

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort opens for the season on November 24th, 2018, so this storm should boost their base.

Snow levels are forecasted to hover around 6,000ft, but the highest accumulations are expected to occur in the mountains.

The 6-10 day temperature outlook is calling for above average precipitation and average temperatures in Wyoming.
