NOAA: Lake Tahoe, CA Just Saw Wettest October in Over 100 Years | 437% of Normal Precipitation

NOAA is reporting that Tahoe City, CA just had its wettest October in over 100 years of recording keeping.

Tahoe City saw 437% of normal precipitation in October 2016!  

Tahoe City saw 9.04″ of precipitation in October 2016.

“October 2016 was very wet in many areas of the Sierra and western Nevada. At Tahoe City, 2016 was the wettest October in over 100 years of precipitation records with 437% of normal precipitation.” – NOAA, today

Unfortunately, the next two weeks in Lake Tahoe are looking pretty dry…
