We aren’t brave enough to even touch this forecast just yet, so we’ll let NOAA Reno do all the talking.  Right now, the potential Turkey Day storm is cruising through Russia.  Thanksgiving snow would be great, though.  Heck, any snow in Tahoe would be great at this point…

There are some indications of the potential for another weather system to impact the Sierra and western Nevada for the Thanksgiving holiday. Though highly uncertain, the current timing shows that there could be some impacts to travel over area passes and for aircraft next Wednesday. More details will follow over the next couple/three days. – NOAA
