NOAA: Snow Down to 7,500′ Forecast in California on Sunday | Squaw & Mammoth Are OPEN

“Light rain is falling or has already fallen across much of northern California. An additional round of showers with the possibility of thunderstorms and mountain snow is expected this weekend. Here’s the forecast!” – NOAA Sacramento, CA today

NOAA is forecasting snow in the northern Sierra Nevada moutains, including Lake Tahoe, as well as the Cascades mountains in California this Sunday.  Snow is forecast as low as 7,500-feet on Sunday.

Squaw Valley and Mammoth will be open this weekend on Saturday and Sunday.  Strong winds and snowfall may affect operations.
