no snow
No snow for 2 more weeks.  All of Tahoe has 15 inches or less of snowpack.  50+ degrees everyday this week on Donner Pass, CA.

We all know that it’s not looking good in California.  Now, it’s safe to say that it’s looking bad in California.

Tahoe Forecast = Two weeks of above normal temps, no snow, high pressure, and all of Tahoe has 15 inches or less of snowpack…  We’ll let NOAA do the talking:

High pressure dominates northern California the next two weeks with a mostly clear sky and above normal temperatures. This is resulting in no threat of precipitation and a shrinking snowpack. Only the higher Sierra has any significant snowpack remaining.” – NOAA, Sacramento, CA

After two weeks of sun and temps in the 50s in Tahoe, how much snow is going to be left?

California just is having its driest calendar year on record:

California 2013 = Driest Calendar Year on Record by 20%…
