Montana just got big snow last weekend.  Up to 10″ of snow…  Enough in fact to ski at Showdown, Montana on Labor Day (Monday).

“Saturday looks like a beautiful day across western Montana and central Idaho, other than some patchy valley fog/stratus to start the morning. BUT…

A change comes Sunday afternoon into Monday, when colder Canadian air moves into the region. Cool temperatures, gusty northeast winds and mountain snow down to 5000 feet (mainly along the Continental Divide) all look possible! This will bring a rapid change in conditions Sunday afternoon for Glacier National Park”- NOAA Missoula, MT today
