NOAA is calling for snow in Oregon this weekend.
1-3″ of snow is forecast above 5,500′ with snow levels as low as 5,000′.
“It’s that season again, where we start to see snow up in the higher Cascades. Any one hiking, camping, or recreating up above 5,000 feet will encounter snow this weekend. On Saturday through Sunday we’re expecting snowfall amounting to 1-3 inches above 5,500 feet, and a trace to 1 inch possible around 4,500 to 5,500 feet. While the passes may see some occasional light snow, it should not accumulate on the roads, leaving the roads clear for travel this weekend.” – NOAA Portland, OR today
