NOAA: Snow for Wyoming this Weekend | Ski Resorts Could See Up To 6″

A storm moving through Wyoming this weekend will drop up to 6″ on ski areas. Snow will fall through Saturday night, making for a decent powder day Sunday.

The NOAA forecast discussion this morning reads:

Saturday looks dry for most of the region with mild high temps for many places. Some light snow may develop in the NW WY mountains Saturday afternoon. Saturday night, the snow increases in the west. East of the divide, snow develops over the north as the cold front sags south into this area as the weather system moves over the area. The cold front and snow should be into the central zones around 12Z Sunday. Low temps Saturday night will be in the teens and 20s.

Jackson Hole and Grand Targhee will both see up to 6″ which should make for some sweet skiing. Go get it…
