The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning & Winter Storm Watch for MT. The warning is in effect from 6pm this evening to noon on Thursday. The Watch is in effect from 12:00am on Wednesday to noon on Thursday.

WARNING Area: 10-15″ of Snow, With Up To 20″ Fall Tonight – Thursday Morning

WATCH Area: 4 to 8″ of snow, with localized amounts up to 12″ Tonight – Thursday Morning

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 10 to
 15 inches, with localized amounts up to 20 inches, are expected.

* WHERE...Absaroka/Beartooth Mountains and Crazy Mountains.

* WHEN...6 PM this evening to noon Thursday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on difficult back-country travel
 conditions. Gusty winds could produce reduced visibilities.
