The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for Red Lodge Mountain, MT. It’s in effect from 11:00pm this evening – 12:00pm Thursday. Heavy snowfall is forecasted to impact the area throughout this time.

“The next winter weather system moves into the area tonight into Wednesday. Snow begins in the mountains overnight, and spreads to lower elevations Wednesday morning. Significant snow totals are possible for many of the mountain passes, and travel will be tricky at lower elevations, as well. Slow down and allow some extra time to reach your destination, especially if going over one of the passes.”

Snow is forecasted to be confined to the mountains tonight, but lower elevation snowfall is expected to begin Wednesday morning.
