NOAA: Winter Storm Warnings All Over East Coast Today | Up to 16″ Snow Totals

NOAA issued a Winter Storm Warnings for the East Coast that include Vermont, New York, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New York yesterday.  These warnings were issued yesterday and continue until 7pm this evening.

Snow totals from this storm between yesterday and today are forecast to be in the 4-8″ range with the highest locations seeing up to 12-16″ of snow.

Lake Effect Snow Warnings have been issued in New York that are forecasting up to 18″ snowfall totals.

The only ski resort open in the Northeast is Killington, VT and they’ve already seen 12″ of snow as of this morning.

This storm should help a few more ski resorts open up on the East Coast this week.
