12,481-foot Kachina peak.   Inbounds terrain at Taos Ski Valley, NM.

NOAA has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Taos, New Mexico today.  3-8″ of snow are forecast with snow levels down to 8,000-feet.

Taos is in the bullseye of the current El Nino outlooks with above average precipitation along with below average temperatures forecast for this winter.

This could be the year to be in Taos.  This mountain is sick and in our Top 10 Ski Resorts in North America.

Taos also added a new chair last year that goes right to the top of 12,481-foot Kachina peak just last year.
