The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Montana. It’s in effect Today – Friday Morning. Light-to-moderate snowfall is forecasted to impact the area. Snow-covered roadways are possible at elevations greater than 6,000ft.

Up To 2″ of Snow Above 6,000ft Today – Friday Morning.

The Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for areas above 6,000ft, but snow could fall at elevations as low as 5,000ft.

NOON MDT FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of up to two
  inches are expected.

* WHERE...Absaroka/Beartooth Mountains.

* WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to noon MDT Friday.

* ROADWAYS EFFECTED...Beartooth Highway US 212.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Expect
  reduced visibilities at times.
