The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Sun Valley Resort, ID. It’s in effect until 12:00pm Tuesday. Persistent snowfall is forecasted to impact the resort throughout that time.

  • 8-12″ of Snow Today – Tuesday Morning

“Driving conditions will be difficult in some areas as we see another couple rounds of snow over the next 2 days. Watch for slick roads and periods of low visibility, particularly in the mountain passes as well as up around Island Park.”

Snow is forecasted to fall at all elevations, but the heaviest accumulations are expected to occur in the mountains.

The 6-10 day outlook calls for above average precipitation and below average temperatures in Idaho.
