The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Washington. It’s in effect through early Saturday morning. Crystal Mountain Resort, WA is set up good to get some fresh snow from this storm.

“Snow Advisory through early Saturday Morning Cacades of Pierce and Lewis above 5,000 feet: While rain spreads across the lowlands, snowfall above 5,000 feet may accumulation to around 4″ in the Cascades of Pierce and Lewis counties. This includes Paradise, Mount Rainier. Hikers and others engaged in outdoor activities should be aware of accumulating snow.”

The Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for areas with an elevation greater than 5,000ft, but light snow may fall below that.
