The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Washington. It’s in effect through this evening. Persistent snowfall is forecasted to impact the area through this evening. If you’re looking to take some powder turns, head over to Crystal Mountain Resort, WA.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM THIS
MORNING TO 8 PM PDT THIS EVENING ABOVE 4000 FEET...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 5 to 10
  inches.

* WHERE...Cascades of Whatcom and Skagit Counties and Cascades
  of Pierce and Lewis Counties including the Mount Baker ski
  area and Paradise on Mount Rainier.

* WHEN...From 6 AM to 8 PM PDT Wednesday. The heaviest
  accumulations should occur in the afternoon and early evening.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Be
  prepared for reduced visibilities at times.
