The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Grand Targhee and Jackson Hole, WY. It’s in effect from noon Today – noon on Friday. A cold front is forecasted to combine with abundant pacific moisture, which will result in heavy snowfall for the resort.

A cold front is forecasted to move into the area, but precipitation falling in the form of snow will mainly be limited to the mountains.

...Significant snow returning to the western and northern
mountains today and continuing into Friday morning...

.A cold front, combined with abundant Pacific moisture, will move
over the state during the day today. This front will push
southward tonight, before becoming stationary along the Divide by
Friday morning.

Teton and Gros Ventre Mountains-


* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 12
  inches, with localized amounts up to 15 inches, are expected.

* WHERE...Teton and Gros Ventre Mountains.

* WHEN...From noon today to noon MDT Friday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions,
  including during the morning commute on Friday. Expect reduced
  visibilities at times.
