NOAA released its official November outlook for the USA earlier this month.
From the looks of it, you’ll want to be in Colorado or New Mexico for the best chances of snow in the USA in November. This outlook is calling for above average precipitation and normal temperatures in CO & NM.
This outlook doesn’t look great for the Pacific Northwest nor Montana. The PNW and Montana are forecast to see above average temperatures and below average precipitation.
PRECIPITATION IN NOVEMBER:
NOAA’s official precipitation outlook for November is showing above average precipitation in New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, the Southeast, and southern Alaska. Below average precipitation is forecast in the Pacific Northwest, Montana, and Jackson Hole, WY.
TEMPERATURES IN NOVMEBER:
Whoa, it looks like it’s gonna be hot just about everywhere in the USA this November.
NOAA’s official temperature outlook for November is showing above average temperatures for all of the USA except for Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana. Below average temps are only forecast is west Texas.
As far as California goes, this outlook supports meteorologist Mike Pechner’s prediction that El Nino/winter storms may not begin in California until January.
