NOAA just released their official outlook for the month of October in the USA. Temperatures are forecasted to be below average in the Northern Plains and the Midwest, above average in the West, and average on the East Coast. Precipitation is expected to be below average in the PNW, above average on the East Coast, and average throughout the rest of the country. Ski season usually kicks off in October at some resorts, so it’s an important month to monitor the forecast.
