A video went viral earlier this week of a friendly bear cub interacting with a bunch of snowboarders at Northstar Resort, CA. But that innocent meeting could have cost the cub its life.
While little cubs may be cute and cuddly, interacting with them is dangerous for everyone involved. The boarders in the video can be seen feeding the cub, and as the saying goes, ‘a fed bear is a dead bear’. Many comments on the original post mentioned the fact that momma bear would be nearby, but the fact that she wasn’t likely indicates she is dead, and this young cub is desperate for food.
