Two glacial ski resorts in Norway that would normally offer lift-accessed skiing throughout the summer and into fall have announced that they will be closing early this year.

The two resorts, both of which had planned to open well into September, are blaming high temperatures causing snow to melt.

Folgefonn summer ski center closed last week, and the Galdhopiggen Glacier will close for the season on July 28th.

The announcements come on the back of another Norwegian resort, on the Stryn Glacier, closing early last month.
