The snow is falling in the Great White North and western Canada is the beneficiary.  It remains predominately pre-season for most resorts, but Revelstoke has taken an impressive early lead with over 100 inches of snow already on the ground. Kicking Horse (71 in) Whitewater (64 in) and Sun Peaks (47 in) round out the next highest accumulations in western Canada. Whistler Blackcomb is not yet reporting snowfall totals, but big storms coming this week should be adding to any base the mountain has to date. Sunshine Village remains the only Canadian resort open so far this season.
