With exactly one month to go until season opening in Australia, itโ€™s high time we check out the opening dates downunder. Most resorts in Australia will be opening for Kingโ€™s birthday long weekend, June 7-9, however not all of those resorts may be able to offer skiing and snowboarding from the get go. Fingers crossed for some cold days for snow making and early season snow falls. Today was a promising start, with a cold snap sweeping across Tasmania, bringing snow to areas above 600 meters (1,970 feet), including Ben Lomond.
