Some of the higher Oregon ski areas are reporting some snowfall from last night. Mt. Bachelor, Mt. Hood Meadows and Timberline Lodge all show a slight dusting of snow at their base areas. Anthony Lakes is also reporting that they got snow, and they have snow in the forecast later this week. Even though the forecast for enough snow to get ski areas open isn’t quite here yet, after last season, it’s nice to see that it does still snow in Oregon.

Other Northwest ski areas are also reporting fresh snow. Brundage, Idaho reported a dusting on Facebook today, and Crystal Mountain also appears to be getting some snow right now.

Sadly, it doesn’t look like the Northwest will get to keep any of this snow for long. While ski season is still a month away, it’s never too early to start building that base.
