Big SNOW, North America’s Only Indoor Ski Attraction, Flips the Forecast by Launching Cool Down Days to Give Outdoor Workers a Taste of Winter with a 28 Degree Half-Off Escape

Big SNOW American Dream in New Jersey, North America’s first indoor, real-snow ski and snowboard center providing guests with year-round winter indoors, is tipping its (snow)cap to those who work outdoors in the blazing sun. All August long, Big SNOW is kicking off Cool Down Days, inviting outdoor workers to trade the sweat for snow and cool down where it’s always a crisp 28 degrees, with half-off lift tickets. To claim this offer, participants must show proof of employment to receive a promotion code, which can be used on-site to register for tickets.

While most people sprint for the nearest air conditioner at the first sign of a heatwave, outdoor workers keep pushing through—laying asphalt, trimming trees, hauling packages, directing traffic, and more. Day after day, they take on scorching temperatures with grit, determination, and an unwavering work ethic. This kind of dedication deserves more than just a thank you; it deserves a well-earned break from the heat.

“Despite the heat advisories and unbearable conditions, outdoor workers show up every day to get the job done. Cool Down Days are our way of recognizing their efforts by offering them a chance to hit the slopes and chill out in a refreshing 28-degree escape that lasts all year long, no matter what the forecast says,” said Amiana Tyransky, Resort Marketing Manager at Big SNOW American Dream.

Big SNOW American Dream, operated by New Jersey-based SNOW Partners, is the first facility of its kind within the United States and Canada, offering aspiring and existing skiers and snowboarders, as well as snow-curious guests, varied on-snow experiences within a 180,000 square foot, 16-story, climate-controlled ski slope. It boasts four acres of snow-covered slopes, a 160-foot vertical drop, a graduated degree of pitch ranging from 0% at the base to 26% at its steepest point, and 1,000 feet of length for skiers of all ages and skill levels to take advantage of, all serviced by four surface and aerial lifts.
