Getting Here and Getting Around
Driving and Parking
If youโre planning to drive, youโll find day parking at Perisher Valley, with additional parking available at Smiggins Holes. Keep in mind that this is a busy weekend, so it pays to arrive early for the best spots. Important note: All 2WD vehicles must carry snow chains when entering Kosciuszko National Park during winter. Take the Skitube!
The Skitube is hands-down the simplest and most scenic way to get to Perisher during the festival. Departing from Bullocks Flat (just 20 minutes from Jindabyne), it avoids the need to drive up the mountain altogether. No snow chains, no narrow alpine roadsโjust a smooth ride straight into the heart of the action. Bonus: Parking at Bullocks Flat is free, and you wonโt need a National Park entry pass if you’re using the Skitube.
