We’re driving out of the canyon yesterday back into the Salt Lake Valley when we spot…ski tracks in town! And they were pretty ones, too.

Turns out Instagram user @spindrift65 and a few buddies toured up a gravel pit near the mouth of Big Cottonwood Canyon, UT, and scored some fresh powder turns—right there in town. 

How’s that for avoiding traffic up to the ski areas?
