Walking onto the hill on a crisp morning, seeing the lifts spinning, noticing no lines, and looking up at an untouched mountain coated in 12 inches of new snow on May 9th sounds alright.
Arapahoe Basin, Colorado got 12” of new snow Wednesday night. The Arapahoe Basin area has received about 155” since April 1st, 2013. This place is on fire.
A-Basin riders got a big taste of May powder yesterday and the rest of were… well, we weren’t skiing deep powder, so it doesn’t matter. It snowed 3 more inches last night…
