Hermès has released a pair of alpine skis combining premium materials, refined artistry, and racing-inspired design. The “Off Piste” skis feature a sycamore wood veneer enhanced by the “Jeu d’adresse” design from artist Evan Hecox. Crafted in France and aimed at skiers over 5’5″ tall of all skill levels, these skis meld aesthetic distinction with performance.
At the core, the skis use ash wood sourced from the Vercors massif in France, known for its durability and its grip on various snow surfaces. According to the product description, the construction resembles racing skis, offering stability at speed and control on large curves. With a 132mm tip, 74mm underfoot, 109mm tail (132-74-109) and a 13.75m turning radius, the skis’ firm waist supports turns with a perceptible holding force, complemented by a “red shovel” that aids in engaging curves and a tail that smooths passage through turns. Measuring 172 centimeters, these skis suit taller skiers and are designed to perform across a range of snow conditions.
“The core of the ski is in ash wood from Vercors, a French massif, and its structure is similar to a racing ski. It allows it to grip on all types of snow surfaces.
As this ski offers stability for high speed and large curves, it is also perfect for leisure activities or a further sporting practice.
Its red shovel easily engages into the curves. Its firm waist helps with a perceptible supporting force and the tail of the ski allows to go through the curve easily.”

There is no mention of whether these luxury skis are sold with bindings mounted, although close-up images do show Hermès-branded bindings. The matching “Off Piste” telescopic ski poles by Hermès, retailing at $2,425, are not included with the skis and must be purchased individually. These poles feature carbon construction, adjustable length, and refined leather grips for a premium experience.
The skis are delivered with a cover and presented in a signature orange box tied with Hermès’s Bolduc ribbon. Despite the high price, Hermès offers complimentary ground shipping for these items, with options for express and white-glove delivery for added care.
By combining French artisan woodwork, high-performance engineering, and artistic visuals, Hermès positions these alpine skis as much a collector’s piece as essential sporting equipment. They speak to affluent skiers seeking both exclusivity and utility on the slopes.
