The first significant snowstorm of the season hit Mammoth, CA, yesterday, with near white-out conditions for much of the day.

6″ of fresh snow fell on Mammoth Mountain, and cold overnight temps should aid snowmaking efforts over the next several weeks.

It bodes well for an excellent early season!

Opening Day at Mammoth Mountain is scheduled for November 13 (but could come sooner if cold temperatures and snowy conditions persist🤞🏻).

Mammoth, w/ a base at 8,000′ and a top at 11,000′ doesn’t have the rain issues like squaw from 6000′-9000′.
