Mammoth Mountain, California, is set up for a great weekend after it received an additional 9-20โ€ of new snow overnight, bringing the storm total to 18″ at Main Lodge and up to 32โ€ at the summit.

Forecasts are calling for the storm to clear out today, with clear sunny skies in the forecast this weekend before another storm is expected to move in sometime next week.

The resort has seen 135″ of fresh snow this winter and has a 98″ base.ย Mammoth had a fantastic start to the season, recording 62″ of snow in November, its snowiest November in a decade.

At 11,053 feet, Mammoth Mountain boasts the highest summit of any California resort, making for deeper, better snow and beautiful vistas. With 3,500 skiable acres, 175 trails, an average of 400 inches of snowfall, 300 days of sunshine per year, and a season that typically stretches from November to June, Mammoth delivers big smiles on the slopes from first-timers to Olympians.
