[PHOTOS] Mammoth Mountain, CA, Receives 29-42″ of New Snow

This latest storm to hit the Eastern Sierra brought 29-42″ of fresh powder over the weekend providing some of the best storm riding conditions Mammoth Mountain has seen in the last few years. 

Also: a reminder that the Mountain’s Night of Lights is back at Canyon Lodge on December 17—this free event celebrates the holiday season with a firework spectacular that lights up the Sierra sky.

Highlights:
  • 29 -42  inches of new snow fell over the weekend (29 inches at Main Lodge)
  • Snow totals so far this season: 138 inches of snow (at Main Lodge)
