Copper Mountain, Colorado, is celebrating the season of giving with the return of the Play Forever Thursdays program. Copper has been partnering with local non-profit organizations through lift ticket giving programs for five seasons. Copper is once again offering $99 discounted tickets to guests this winter with a portion of proceeds benefiting non-profit partners through Play Forever Thursdays.
Play Forever Thursdays is a community-based fundraising effort where Copper will donate $5 from every $99 discounted lift ticket purchased online and in-advance to 21 community non-profit partners on select Thursdays throughout the 2023/24 winter season. The program will begin on Dec. 21 and will resume on Thursdays between Jan. 11 and April 11, 2024. Play Forever Thursdays partner organizations will have an on-site presence at Copper on their select Thursday to speak with guests about their programโs objectives, volunteer opportunitiesย and more.ย New this winter, Copper will host an enabling participation day, adaptive day and an international womenโs day celebration with partner organizations on select dates.ย Play Forever lift tickets provide a great option for guests to ski and ride at Copper this winter for a discounted rate, if purchased online and in-advance.
Play Forever is POWDR and Copper Mountainโs corporate responsibility commitment to protect the environment and support the community. Since 2020, Copper Mountain has donated over $500,000 and partnered with 30 non-profits, including seven new organizations this season, through lift ticket donations. Last yearโs Play Forever Thursdays program was the resortโs most successful lift ticket giving program since the program’s original launch, donating over $150,000 to partners.
Through the Play Forever Thursdays program, proceeds from lift ticket sales will benefit organizations whose focus is to provide local relief, promote on-mountain inclusivity and support environmental causes.
