Our good friend Jason Abraham “Abro” sustained neck and spinal injuries while skiing at Squaw Valley yesterday. ย Abro is a friend, a husband, a father, and an incredible professional photographer. ย He’s made a big impact on our community over the years and now it’s time for us to give back and help out.
Any donation you can make, however small, will go a long way to getting Abro fixed up and charging again. ย Thank you.

About Abro:
Jason Abraham suffered neck and spinal trauma from an accident at Squaw Valley in Olympic Valley, California. Abraham was taken via life flight from the ski area to Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, Nevada, where he immediately went into surgery to stabilize/repair fractures to his C6/7 and L1 vertebrae. His wife, Kate Abraham, is by his side at the hospital. Son Ebbett is in the care of family friends back in Tahoe.
Donations made will be put directly towards Abraham’s medical costs: first and foremost his surgery and rehabilitation.ย (We will update when we know more.)
Let’s take care of Jason, known affectionately as โA-Bro,โ a beloved Lake Tahoe friend and talented photographer.
For those that do not know Jason:
A University of Vermont graduate, Jason Abraham founded Elevated Image Photography in 2005. He specializes in commercial, editorial, and event photography with a focus on outdoor adventure, the environment, and sports. He and his family, wife Kate and son Ebbett, have made a home in Alpine Meadows, where they’re chasing their dreams and embracing the mountain lifestyle.
Damn that sucks. What happened?
