It’s always tough to learn what current conditions are like in South America.  This video is only a couple days old and it shows us exactly what it Portillo was skiing like.  Portillo got snow last weekend.  How much, we don’t know exactly as they don’t report snow totals on their website.  But, it looks like they got a foot or snow and that it was skiing well.
