Powder Magazine just released its annual print magazine, marking the third consecutive year of print since its celebrated return to newsstands in 2023. With 140 pages of photo essays, the issue is sure to become a collectible for snow sport lovers. Featured on the 2026 cover is Chris Benchetler while skiing at Mammoth Mountain, California, for his upcoming movie Mountains of the Moon.

Once thought gone for good after its 2020 shutdown under AIM Group, Powder’s comeback to print journalism has proven more than nostalgic—it’s become a testament to the enduring soul of ski culture. The 2026 magazine is available online as well as at newsstands across the USA.

Aside from Benchetler, the 2026 issue features Michelle Parker, Tanner Hall, Henrik Harlaut, Lindsey Vonn, and many others, and takes you to ski areas across the globe in a stunning photo journey.

This latest issue continues Powder’s modern rebirth under new ownership, which promised to uphold the magazine’s original tagline—The Skier’s Magazine. The Photo Annual format, now a yearly tradition, keeps storytelling grounded in emotion rather than algorithms. In an era when most ski media lives on screens, Powder’s print issues have become collectible time capsules, showcasing the sport’s artistic and adventurous essence.
