Quick-Hit Storm Continues In CA | Up To 10″ of Snow Above 7,000ft Through Early Wednesday Afternoon

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for California. It is in effect until 1:00pm Wednesday Afternoon. This system is expected to be short lived, but it will deliver some much needed precipitation.

This short spirt of precipitation is expected to arrive with a cold strong front, which will allow for snow to fall as low as 1,500ft.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM TO 1 PM
PST WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Plan on slippery road conditions,
 including during the morning commute on Wednesday. Total snow
 accumulations of 3 to 5 inches, with localized amounts up to 8
 inches, are expected. Snow amounts of up to 10 inches are
 expected above 7000 feet.

* WHERE...Greater Lake Tahoe Area.

* WHEN...From 1 AM to 1 PM PST Wednesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Be prepared for reduced visibilities and
 near white out conditions at times.
