After receiving over two feet of snow in the most recent storm cycle, Monarch Mountain has announced it is extending its ski season. Monarch’s closing day will now be Sunday, April 17, 2022.

“It’s important to us that we give our guests as much time as we possibly can on the hill. It’s clear that winter is not done with us yet, so we’re going to keep skiing and riding,” Marketing Manager Allie Stevens said.

Monarch intends to host its traditional closing weekend events. Kayaks on Snow will be on Saturday, April 16, at 11:00 am, and The Gunbarrel Challenge will be on Sunday, April 17, at 1:00 pm. More details for both events can be found at www.skimonarch.com.

Wings passes are still available allowing you to ski the rest of this season and all next season for only $569.
