Freeskier Dane Tudor, 33, just won the coveted Standout Male Skier of the Year Award at the International Freeski Film Festival (IF3) earlier this week.

He won the award for his part in the Blank Collective Film Feel Real.

Dane began skiing at RED Mountain Resort at two years old before graduating to the RED Mountain Racers ski team. Dane was a standout performer, with numerous podium finishes through the K1 and K2 divisions, winning the overall K2 provincial title to round out his racing career.

Dane was constantly drawn to RED Mountain’s steep trees, pillows, and cliffs which proved the perfect training ground for Dane as he progressed his free-ride skills. Dane has maintained a professional film ski career for over 14 years, filming with Poor Boyz Productions, Teton Gravity Research, and Sherpas Cinema. Dane is currently expanding his career by starting his own film production company, Shred House Media.

RED Mountain Resort offers 3,850 acres of skiable terrain served by eight lifts across four peaks—the sheer amount of terrain is impressive. RED isn’t your typical front-side & back-side ski resort. It offers 360 degrees of skiing on Granite Mountain (the largest of the four) and 270 degrees on Grey Mountain, along with additional access to two more peaks. Not only that, it has the best tree skiing in North America.

If you want to ski like Dane, go to RED.
