Revelstoke Mountain Resort, BC, announced yesterday that they will be closed today (Wednesday, March 31st, 2021). Due to covid-19 related circumstances, they will not have enough staff to open the mountain.
On Monday 29th March 2021, the Province of British Columbia made an announcement enacting new restrictions in order to help reduce the spread of Covid-19 within the Province. The announcement had an immediate impact on Whistler Blackcomb, who were ordered to close for three weeks, ending their season prematurely.
Revelstoke is scheduled to close for the season this Sunday, April 5th, 2021. Whether they reopen to finish off the season remains to be seen.
