In a strategic move to cement its status as a premier year-round destination, Revelstoke Mountain Resort (RMR) has announced the development of Cabot Revelstoke, a major expansion featuring world-class golf, luxury hospitality, and high-end residential opportunities. According to a press release issued by the resort on May 7, 2026, the project is a collaboration with Cabot, a renowned developer of elite resort and residential golf communities, and represents a significant pillar in RMR’s long-term vision.

The centerpiece of the expansion is the Cabot Revelstoke Golf Course, an 18-hole public layout designed by acclaimed Canadian architect Rod Whitman. Scheduled to open in 2027, the course is engineered to follow the natural contours of the Columbia River Valley, emphasizing environmental stewardship through its enrollment in the Audubon International Platinum Signature Sanctuary program. To complement the championship course, the resort will also introduce “The Rail Yard,” a vibrant social hub anchored by a par-three short course and dining facilities, designed to serve as a year-round gathering place for residents and visitors.

Hospitality infrastructure is set for a major upgrade with the debut of the Cabot Revelstoke Mountain Lodge in early 2027. This 155-room retreat will serve as a central base for both summer golf and winter heli-skiing, featuring a Chop Steakhouse & Bar slated to open in late 2026. The lodge will also house a spa, fitness center, and over 8,500 square feet of event space. Tom Gaglardi, CEO of Northland Properties, RMR’s parent company, noted that the advancement reflects a commitment to creating exceptional experiences across all seasons while investing in the future of the resort.

On the residential front, the project introduces a limited collection of luxury alpine homes known as The Residences at Cabot Revelstoke. The first phase, Chalet 1, consists of nine four- and five-bedroom single-level residences starting at $7.6 million CAD ($5.5 million USD). Initial interest suggests a high demand for these limited properties, which prioritize mountain views and seamless connection to the landscape. As the resort continues to build on its reputation — including recent accolades for the “World’s Best Powder” at the 2025 Snowmad Ski Resort Awards — this move into elite summer recreation marks a new era for the British Columbia mountain destination.
